Sens lose way on island  A trip to the NHL’s spring dance already booked, the Senators let the New York Islanders dance on their heads Saturday afternoon.

With the end of the regular season only a week away and a playoff spot already assured, the Senators looked like a team that can’t wait to get to the post-season while dropping an ugly 4-1 loss to the lowly Islanders at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The weak effort left Senators coach Cory Clouston seething.

“We took them lightly and they wanted it a lot more than we did,” he said. “Is that acceptable? No, you can’t accept that. We just weren’t ready to go. They were.
