Sens set for Game 3 at home

Posted on April 18, 2010

As the Senators prepare to host the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series we caught up with Mike Fisher.

Q - There's a lot of pressure on yourself, Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza to produce offensively - how do you deal with that?

A - All year long we have gotten offence from kind of everyone and they have had some chances and so have I. We need to all chip in and be better then we were in Game 2 but it's a team - not one or two guys.

Q - It's been almost two years since a playoff game was played here, are you excited?

A - It feels good. The crowd is going to be fired up I'm sure and excited and we are looking forward to it for sure.

Q - What do you need to do to beat Marc-Andre Fleury?

A - We just want to keep shooting. He played pretty good in Game 2 after the first goal. We know he's got experience and we know what type of goalie he can be. We just have to keep getting pucks at him. Get in front of him. We didn't do a good enough job of getting in those scoring areas last game where we need to get in front of him.
