Kelly stars on Broadway One of the Senators finally remembered how to score again.

It’s all that was needed.

Chris Kelly registered a hat trick, including an empty-netter with 0.8 seconds on the clock, to lift the Senators to a 3-1 victory over the Rangers Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

The win snapped a three-game losing skid for the Senators.

Pascal Leclaire made 25 saves for the win.

Indeed, Kelly was the hero, as he relayed into mesh a Jarkko Ruutu pass from behind the net with 2:24 remaining in the third period for the winner.

“I didn’t even know it went it. I saw Ruuts celebrating, that’s how I knew it was in.”
