Sens lose to Rangers in third period collapse Michael Sauer scored his first career NHL goal with less than six minutes remaining Thursday to give the New York Rangers a 5-3 come-from-behind victory over the struggling Ottawa Senators.

Sauer, a second-year defenceman playing his 27th career game, took a pass in the slot from Brandon Prust on a Rangers power play and fired the puck past Brian Elliott to give New York its only lead of the night.

Mike Fisher scored twice for Ottawa (12-16-2), which has lost two in a row and five of the last six.
