The Ottawa Senators announced that Mike Fisher was traded to the Nashville Predators Thursday morning. In exchange the Senators received a first-round draft pick in the 2011 entry draft and a third-round draft pick in 2012 from the Predators. The selection in 2012 can move up to a second-round pick.
The 30-year-old Fisher, who is in his 11th full season in the NHL, played all 675 games of his career in a Senators uniform. Through that time Fisher scored 167 goals and has 348 points.
