One game ago, the Predators let a team behind them in the playoff race almost come back from a third-period deficit. Following that game Coach Barry Trotz ripped into his team. On Saturday, the Predators showed they listened.
In a similar situation to their victory over Anaheim, the Predators squeezed out the Dallas Stars in the third period to win 4-2 in front of an announced crowd of 16,892 at Bridgestone Arena.
It was Nashville's sixth win in a row, and moved the Predators (41-25-10) to 92 points for sixth place in the Western Conference. It also kept the ninth-place Stars (38-25-10) on 86 points.
