Preds overwhelmed by 5-minute flurry

It's not that the other 55 minutes of Game 4 between the Ducks and Predators weren't important. But the within a five-minute stretch, the Ducks exercised their core philosophy to a 6-3 victory.

"Big-time players are paid big-time dollars and they're expected to deliver in big-time situations," Anaheim Coach Randy Carlyle said. "There is no bigger stage than the Stanley Cup playoffs."

Anaheim knotted the Western Conference quarterfinals series 2-2 on Wednesday behind back-to-back goals in the first five minutes of the third period by NHL leading scorer Corey Perry and captain Ryan Getzlaf.
