Game 1 loss sickens Predators Shea Weber said Nashville's 1-0 loss to Vancouver was "embarrassing." Forward Jerred Smithson said the Canucks "walked all over us." Coach Barry Trotz called his forwards "passengers" in the defeat.

All the good will from Nashville's historic first-round series win ended in the second-round opener Thursday night.

Chris Higgins' goal was the difference for Vancouver, which took a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series in front of an announced sellout crowd of 18,860 at Rogers Arena. But the Predators believed they simply did not play their best, and that's what bothered them the most.
