For the past two days, Shea Weber’s trick shot from Section 317 in Bridgestone Arena had turned into an Internet sensation.
Weber’s goal from three sections above the ice found its way onto YouTube, Yahoo and the front page of the NHL’s website.
On Thursday against Detroit, Weber got to display his real shot in game competition. The result was the same – nothing but net.
Weber’s two late goals propelled the Predators to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the rival Detroit Red Wings in front of an announced sell-out crowd of 17,113 at Bridgestone Arena.
