Mistakes cost Predators

Following their 4-1 loss to the Stars on Thursday, the Predators bemoaned their sloppiness that led to Dallas’ goals.

“We pretty much gave them every goal by mistakes we made,” defenseman Ryan Suter said.

On Dallas’ first goal, forward Mike Ribeiro made an inside-out move on defenseman Roman Josi and put the puck behind goaltender Pekka Rinne. That score came with 15:42 left in the first period to give the Stars a 1-0 lead.

With 13:32 left in the second period and the Stars ahead 2-1, Suter took the puck behind the net and tried a reverse pass to Weber. The puck went straight to Stars forward Jamie Benn who put the puck past an unsuspecting Rinne.
