In the thin air of the Mile High City, the Predators knew they needed a good start to Tuesday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche.
They got that and then held on for a 4-1 win at the Pepsi Center.
Nashville scored three goals in the first 15:05 of the first period.
“That’s exactly the way we wanted to come out. We were all over them,” defenseman Shea Weber said.
The Predators (23-15-4) picked up two points against a team that was one point behind them in the standings going into the game.
