The Nashville Predators have found ways to give up leads on their current roadtrip. Thursday, it cost them a loss.
Nashville scored first, but the Sharks came back in the third period to win 2-1 in a shootout. On Monday, the Predators beat Phoenix in a shootout after losing a two-goal lead.
The Sharks entered the third period down a goal, but got a power-play score 55 seconds into the period from captain Joe Thornton.
“They are a desperate team and they played like it,” forward Martin Erat said. “Always when you come to this building they put a lot of pressure on you. We defended well and got a point from it, that’s good for us.”
