Predators defence can't do the job

Another game in western Canada, another slow start, another starting goaltender pulled and another shoddy defensive performance.

Friday's 6-3 loss at Calgary followed a familiar script for the Predators, who had lost 7-4 Thursday at Vancouver.

Goaltender Pekka Rinne was yanked early, and the Flames took advantage of Nashville's mishaps in its own end to win and send the Predators to their second loss in a row on this five-game, eight-day, four-time zone trip.
