Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne gave a quick answer when asked how his hip felt in Nashville's season-opening 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues.
"Good," he said without much expression or tone.
A clearly dejected Rinne was chased midway through the first period after allowing three goals on six shots. Not all of the goals were his fault, but it was Rinne's first start after offseason hip surgery, and until he plays his first full game, questions will linger about his recovery.
