Nashville's nightmare in Western Canada continued Wednesday against Vancouver.
Clearly the change of province or scenery from Edmonton to this city, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the mountains, didn't clear out Nashville's lack of mojo from its previous night's loss to the Oilers at Rexall Place.
And the issues remained the same — a lack of offense.
The Canucks powered through the Predators in the third period to pick up the 2-0 win. The loss for the Predators (29-31-10) was Nashville's third straight, and negated a three-game winning streak from last week. The Predators have scored two goals in their past three games and rank 28th in the NHL in goals scored per-game at 2.32. Nashville outshot the Canucks 30-22.
