Predators goalie Carter Hutton knew what was coming.
And he couldn't stop it.
As the Predators entered the Chicago zone on a power play, Toews intercepted a pass, skated in on Hutton all alone from the blue line and fired the game-winning shot with 1:43 left in overtime Saturday to beat Nashville 2-1 at United Center.
"He has that quick five-hole shot — I read the play and made the save, but I think my momentum drifted me back," Hutton said. "I drifted back and tried to close it off, and he was able to bang in the rebound."
