Blackhawks crack Predators home ice edge

In the stands, Blackhawks fans set the tone early —cheering loudly over "God Bless America"  before the puck dropped.

On the ice, the team did the same — building a two-goal lead and holding off a late rally to defeat the Predators 3-1 on Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena.

"It was a playoff game — it was fast hockey," Predators forward Colin Wilson said. "A lot of skill, a lot of plays. I think that's what you'll expect the next times that we match up against them."
