Predators edge Montreal in OT

At various points this season, goaltenders Carey Price and Pekka Rinne have seemed unbeatable, leading their teams to the top of the league standings.

In a tightly contested game Tuesday, Rinne and the Predators were better, winning 3-2 in overtime over the Montreal Canadiens at Bridgestone Arena.

"They're probably the two best goalies in the league, and they showed it tonight again," said Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm, whose first-period goal ended Price's scoreless streak at 166:13. "They were just playing awesome."
