Predators fall to Kings in OT

The horn sounded Saturday at Bridgestone Arena, signifying the end of regulation in a tie game between the Predators and Kings. A sense of dread immediately arose.

Three-on-three overtime, a format change meant to generate excitement, has created only disappointment for the Predators this season. It's as if Kings forward Tanner Pearson's game-winning goal in Los Angeles' 2-1 win was only a matter of time. The Predators, whose past three losses have all come in overtime, are now 1-10 in the extra period, the first team in the NHL to reach double-digit losses.
