Predators coach Peter Laviolette has a
tendency to tinker with his forward lines. He's kept them fairly consistent
recently, though, and he's found a productive second unit in Filip Forsberg,
Mike Ribeiro and Craig Smith.
The line accounted for both of the
Predators' goals Thursday in a 2-0 win against the Bruins, with Smith and
Forsberg scoring in the first period.
"They're playing really well,"
Laviolette said. "They were our most noticeable line tonight. They were in
the offensive zone. It didn't matter what line they were playing against, but
when they got in there, they were skating, they were working, they were strong
in the battles. ... They brought a lot of pucks to the net. They fought for
second opportunities. They did a lot of good things."
